West Bengal Sustainability Conclave on Productivity & Green Growth, India

Dr. Krishna R. Salin, AARM Program Chair was the Keynote Speaker at the West Bengal Sustainability Conclave on Productivity & Green Growth (WBERC) organized by the National Productivity Council (NPC) of India in Kolkata, on 8 May 2023. The NPC is a highly professional organization set up by the Government of India in 1958 and has been a pioneer in the fields of consultancy, training and research in areas of energy, environment, and productivity improvement.

In his keynote lecture on sustainable aquaculture and green growth Dr. Salin highlighted the innovations focused on improving productivity in aquatic food systems with examples the demonstrating how global aquaculture and fisheries are contributing towards achieving the SDGs.

Participants in this Conclave included policy makers, energy sector players, students, academia, corporates and other stakeholders in the Indian industry. One of the key industry partners of WBERC was Indian Potash Limited under their CSR activity.
