A workshop on Genomics and Selective Breeding was arranged for Masters and doctoral students of AIT. Dr. Nguyen Hong Nguyen from the University of Sunshine Coast,Australia, was invited to virtually deliver a Special one-day Workshop for AARM Master students on 27 April 2021. Various selective breeding approaches for genetic stock improvement of finfish and shellfish were covered in this Workshop. On 30 April 2021, another two virtual sessions by Dr. Lifat Rahi from Khulna University, Bangladesh, were organized on applyingomics technologies impacting modern stock improvement programs in aquaculture.
