VIETNAM – From March 17–23, 2024, international experts and aquaculture leaders gathered in Vietnam for a high-impact training on Smart Shrimp Farming in Circular Ponds. With 12 participants representing Ecuador, India, Oman, the Philippines, and the USA, this program showcased how circular pond technology and smart management are revolutionizing the industry.
The program offered a comprehensive deep dive into the industry, beginning with intensive field inspections of cutting-edge shrimp facilities across Bạc Liêu, Cà Mau, and Hồ Chí Minh City where participants gained hands-on insights into best management practices and real-world applications of circular tank technology. A highlight of the week was the group's participation in the VietShrimp 2024 International Fair in Ca Mau, where they engaged with over 200 exhibitors to explore the latest trends in low-emission farming and digital value chains. Throughout the tour, the focus remained on the power of circular innovation, demonstrating how integrated systems and smart technologies can significantly reduce environmental waste while maximizing production efficiency for a climate-resilient future.
